Back to School Night was the night following the first day of school. Back to School Night starts with a welcome from the principal and PTA and an overview of expectations and events for the year. I caused a bit of a stir when I questioned the PTA's budget, but after some discussion, a motion was made and approved to amend the budget giving more money to the teachers instead of rolling it over. After we separate from the group meeting, we go to the classes and meet the teachers. I think all of the girls' teachers will be fantastic. Lindsey's class has computers for each child on their desk so that will be a new experience for her. Heather gets to enjoy county reports, book reports, and the 4th grade ski trip. Savannah looks forward to a full day of school and eating school lunch. It should be a great school year for them.
