Dance, Tumble, Cheer

The middle of June found us at recital time with the three girls. They take tumbling, dance, and cheer classes at the same studio. The recital is a big deal for the studio and the girls and a big time commitment for the parents! The dress rehearsal is in the daytime and the performance is in the evening. The whole thing is held at Weber College. The entails me checking the kids out of school for dress rehearsals and driving back and forth to Ogden to make sure everyone is taken care of and where they need to be. There are two nights of performances. Savannah and Lindsey performed the first night and Heather and Lindsey performed the second night. Lindsey performs both nights because she is on the show team. It makes for a couple of hectic days but it all works out. I know I complain about it when it is happening but when it's over, I actually have a nice memory of hanging out with the girls, helping them get ready, and watching them perform.
