This week, Savannah learned how to climb the tree and maneuver through the branches. She was so excited! She called James at work to tell him and took me outside numerous times to show me how she could do it. After her last demonstration, she was skipping back to the house with her hand in mine and she looked up and said, "This is best day of my whole life!" I smiled, gave her a hug, and went on with my tasks. Later, I thought about her exclamation. Something so simple as climbing a tree made it her best day. What small and simple things should I be noticing that would make it my best day?! In her simple, six-year-old way, she reminded me to count my blessings. There are things about every day that make it a "best" day.
